A desire to find a link between my life as an artist and my spiritual life, led me to begin a journey into the icon.  

Finding meditation in practice, the icon has become a platform to continue my search. In it, I have found a pictorial world where the spirit lives through symbolism, harmonizing geometry, and rhythm in light and form.

Over the last three years of the Icon Diploma course, I have found a wonderful community of friends and fellow icon enthusiasts.

The quiet communion of painting together each session, listening to Aidan’s words as he passed on his rich understanding of both the practical aspects and the theology of the icon, was a wonderful and precious experience, the memories of which I shall treasure.
